Join us for After Hours at Bank Independent at 1425 Beltline Road SW in Decatur, on Thursday, April 23, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. This come-and-go event will be the perfect opportunity to network with fellow Chamber members, exchange business cards and enjoy refreshments in a relaxed, after-work setting.
Edge Student Leadership is designed for high school sophomores and juniors and is comprised of approximately 36 youth from Morgan County, Decatur City, and Hartselle City Schools, as well as some private, parochial, and home school students. Edge is a development program designed to prepare high school students to become leaders in their school and community. The group meets 1 day a month for nine months, where each month focuses on a different topic: Team Building, Decatur Now & Then, Law & Order, Healthcare & Education, Poverty Simulation, Economic Development, State Government, as well as a Kick-Off and Graduation event. *Monthly meetings of Edge Student Leadership are not open to the public.
